I'm not gonna accuse anyone of anything here. Just be careful with this lot. I sent my MacBook in for repair and they had it for a very long time. They apparently couldn't fix it and, whilst I did get a refund of my intitial repair fee, I was told that the only other option was to replace the hard drive which would cost about the same as a new Apple machine. I was starting to consider it, but then someone on the forums suggested taking it to an official Genius Bar for a second opinion. I was told that it does need a new hard drive, but it cost me less that 200! As I say, not accusing anyone here, but it seems there was something a bit...inexplicable going on. Also - when I phoned them to check on the state of my MacBook (as they didn't contact me after 2 weeks) I was kept waiting with a ringing phone for over half an hour - and that was the third time of ringing. They do seem to bypass phone calls, I noticed that while I was in the shop. The phone kept ringing (with a low volume) and no one seemed to answer.So - I would suggest not bothering with these folks and take your stuff straight to an official Apple Genius Bar.
Really good service today buying the apple watch. Really friendly service must better and friendlier than the main apple in Reading who are rude
The service was below 1 star.Waited 10 minutes for appointment, another customer walks in and gets served instead of me. The guy who attended me asked me to wait for few minutes I ended up waiting another 25 minutes while he walked out the store.finally someone else attended me to tell that my apple warranty is void due to chip on the back of phone. If the guy who saw me in the beginning had told me that i would not have wasted 35 minutes waiting...
Great apple retailer. They really fit the clean bright, minimal aesthetic. I would trust these guys with the purchase of tech.
