Not what it used to be. Had some decent shops before but not anymore. Still okay though with vue cinema there and ample parking space.
This shopping centre has taken a bit of a hit from the newer upmarket Park development, which has taken the big name stores, and there are one or two empty units. But it has interesting stores with some bargains to be had, and it's clean with free public toilets. It's also under cover if it's raining, and you won't get wet going to the integral multi-storey car park. You'll also find a variety of places to eat and drink.
Newbury is a very pleasant town with a village feel about it. It caters for just about all ones shopping needs as well as the pleasant watering holes along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Highly recommend.
Always love the Kennet Centre, unfortunately a lack of traders and empty units. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Feel it needs a well known large trader too inject a little life back.into it. Their lack of thought for local history is also of great concern. Local cinema takes priorities, over towns long history.
Usually really pleasant place. Pretty much always music playing. Keeps all the shops indoors and in the warm. Toilets are kept fairly clean considering how many people use them.
