I've had a small unit at Now Storage for a few months now as we try to get some order in to the house and garden, and especially tackle the junk yard that our loft has become. The location is very convenient for the centre of town, located near the Racecourse railway station. All units are outdoors but this hasn't been a problem. Considering how hot it has been this summer (2018 for future readers) the units feel quite cool. I wouldn't store ice creams in them but I've no concerns about anything I put in there overheating.These units are containers, such as you see on the back of lorries with full size double doors on the front. The unit came with a massive lock for the door which attaches in a way that would make it near impossible to cut off. The storage area is secured via a big gate with a key code pad.I've used other storage units previously which were maybe better serviced but for a s per sq mtr this is by far the cheapest I've found. Added to this the unit access is 7am to 7pm 7 days a week which is better than most other storage units which don't allow access after 6pm or on Sundays which sucks if you have a full-time job.
Tried just about every storage place for 25 miles and this one leaves the rest standing. No worries about unloading and loading, no need for fork lifts or trolleys. Just drive straight up, unlock and unload. 7am-7pm access. Prices beat pretty much everything else too which as a small charity is vital.
Great service, easy to book and easy to move out. Would recommend especially if you are moving house and are unsure of the amount of stuff you have to store.
Looked to be a very clean and safe place from when I used it, will use it again if I need to, the guys behind the counter seemed to be friendly and genuine.
