Some staff are good and some aren't.
Come for boxing day sale, lovely we really enjoyed our day lots of bargains. It was worth it. Had coffee & cake in Camp Hopson very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoy walking along the River Kennet. Newbury has lots of departmental shops, eateries and supermarkets. Plenty of car parks.
Friendly staff and good customer service.The station has a large car park and a cafe for your convenience while you wait on your train.
Medium sized Great Western station which has a quiet 1950s feel about it disturbed only by the occasional fast non stop train belting through station. Main commuter station to London so will be busy during weekday peak. Line to Reading will be electrified in 2018 so if you want to visit before the masts spoilt the vibe - visit now. New footbridge with lifts being installed.
Station's fine even if access isn't fantastic. Biggest problem is that they have to rely on the dreadful GWR for trains. They would be late for their own funeral.
