Nice gym. Good facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Can join a fitness class every other day. Best option in town for a reasonable price.
I had a very happy experience here because the young lady on the front desk let me in for free.I live on a houseboat and was cruising through Newbury and was able to have a swim (I did go in the canal but it's November and was only able to take it for 30 seconds).
Only three stars for Newbury as the pool always smells like a musty dog and the cross trainer machines always turn off the minute you have a rest. Staff here are amazing though, everyone smiles and makes you welcome. No toilets or sinks in the changing rooms though which is just odd.
