This is a rather time warped early 90's hotel. Perfectly acceptable generally. Haunt of Vodafone staff visiting Newbury. Often populated by casually well dressed people engaged in languid conversation possibly loosely connected with business.
Excellent customer service from making the booking to checking out. We were staying having just left hospital post surgery, so we had a lot of special requirements which were all dealt with without any fuss, also because of the situation we ate in the room which was was again great service and excellent food, highly recommended. Thank you.
Good hotel. Rooms large with fantastic bathrooms. Food good with over the top wine list - more like an encyclopedia.Spa/gym was well equipped. Lift old and quite small - not in the same quality as the rest of the hotel.Golf course was well worth playing but some holes were just up and down.Not that near town centre. Easy to get to from M4.
